Rules for traveler photo uploads

These rules help keep the place gallery safe, useful, and respectful.

Allowed content

• Real travel photos connected to the selected place
• Clear scenic views, landmarks, roads, trails, and public surroundings
• Helpful captions that match the place and image
• Photos selected for Facebook promotion or featured app or website backgrounds only when the uploader has clearly opted in to that separate use

Not allowed

• Content you do not own or have permission to upload
• Explicit, hateful, violent, or abusive content
• Private personal data, faces of children without permission, or doxxing
• Spam, advertisements, fake place photos, or misleading captions

Moderation

Uploaded photos may remain pending until reviewed. We may reject, hide, or remove content that breaks these rules, the app's Terms of Use, or store policy requirements.

We may choose selected approved photos for our official Facebook page or for featured app or website background use only when the uploader has given separate permission for that promotional use.

Removal requests

If you want your photo removed from the app gallery, our Facebook page, or any featured app or website background slot, contact support@sltravelguide.lk with the place name and any identifying details.
